ten days after more than twice the required signatures were accepted to be put legalization on the 2012 ballot. I wonder how many of them were young and supported/campaigned/slaved for Obama in 08? I also wonder if they'll make it to Washington or Michigan or any of the other medical states that will likely be voting on legalization in 2012 too?

What a dummy Obama can be. SMH.

They're specifically going after dispensaries that are within 1,000ft of schools. Please articulate why this is onerous.

It is just a vehicle for harassment. But feel free to pretend otherwise.

Obama will most of the time do what is popular. His number one goal is power

You have to remember that Obama's idol is Abe Lincoln. Nationalized power at all expense.

Are dispensaries located within 1000 feet of schools "legal?" If not then you should probably change the title of this thread.

Is it being applied universally?

Are there no liquor stores or places to get cigarettes or porn within 1,000 feet of schools anywhere in the state?

Oh, and Ahsmaele:

There are many dispensaries in Colorado that are within 1,000 feet of schools, according to High Times, because they were approved by local laws to do so.

i think dealing drugs across the street from a school is legal in illinois, or at least in the town i live in.
i reported a drug dealing house many times over the course of three or four years. the cops would show up every so often, check in and then leave. i assumed they were getting their cut.
id call and the operator id talk to would as for lisence plate numbers. i dont think they ever understood that it was a home adress i was giving them.
it took the house being condemned and the owner kicking everyone out so he could make repairs to get rid of the drug dealers. the cops never did a thing about it.

They're going against the will of the people.

They're raiding dispensaries that are acting withing the laws of their city and state as approved by the people and the local zoning ordinances. Just because the DEA has something on the books about being able to nail someone for simple possession within 1000 feet of a school they feel justified in doing this.
