My brother-in-law started going bald a few years ago, and he decided to be the master of his dome and just shave it all off. He still has a goatee though, it suits him. My uncle does that, too (shave the dome, wear a goatee).

Just shave it all off with a razor so it is baby smooth. Not just your hair, I am talking eyebrows, facial hair, nose hair, everything. Just imagine how exciting life will suddenly become if you did that
But that sucks =\ you could try to fight it more and start supplementing biotin and using shampoos like Nizoral and Nioxin. A lot of it has to do with excessive amounts of DHT and dry scalp/dandruff. Ultimately there really isn't a cure for it yet.
I'd go with buzzing it though. The buzz/shaved head and goatee isn't a bad look. If my hair gets bad some day I'd probably do it and try to look like Kane and then later on when I am even older shave it off and try to look like john locke

I buzz mine. It costs me next to nothing. I can easily keep it trim and neat, and it is easy to clean. If I had the hair I did when I was young, I would sport it, but that is fate for you. And I don't want the birds nest thing or bad comb overs.
Oh and PS; I am lucky that I have a nice shaped head (I've gotten compliments on it). If I had a odd or lumpy shaped head then yeah that would pose a problem. :/

I had a strange experience in this area.I'm a big ugly troll and I can pick up women but in general not via my looks.Up until x-mas I grew my beard this year longer than it had ever been.Towards the end I started to get strange looks from middle eastern women and they were friendly to me than I have ever noticed in the past...I blew it off as my imagination or wishful thinking ,and then me and a friend went to the store together and when we came out he started to laugh when I asked him why he told me "  ou had to notice she was looking at your fat ass like you were a giant candy bar"..lol.Thats when I became sure it wasn't my imagination...I cut it off for my mom on X-mas but it is growing back as quickly as I can get it too...Being attractive to one race is far better than being attractive to none...lol

If you are ging bald, cut it short. Hair is a symbol of power in most cultures and balding is interpreted as losing power. When you shave it off, you reclaim your power because it falls into the warrior, military meme.

Why the hell would you care what your hair looks like. Just shave it all off when it gets long enough to bother you then wait till it gets long enough to bother you again...then shave it all off. Repeat this until you die or it all falls out.
