They will still sell real-sugar Dr. Pepper but only in Texas. Why they are so hell-bent on shutting down national retail of real-sugar Dr. Pepper boggles my mind. I know I and millions of other customers would happily pay another 10 cents a can for the real thing instead of corn sludge.

from what they said on the radio yesterday, they broke the contract when they tried to sell the stuff on the internet.

And did the world a service by breaking the contract.
Their stuff is far superior to the corn sludge filled stuff the normal Dr. Pepper company sells. Why Dr. Pepper won't just start selling a real-sugar line themselves boggles my mind. It would only cost them a few cents more per can and they could mark it up double whatever their cost is and come out making MORE money.

ive been buying HEB brand at central market that is sugar based, not corn syrup. i prefer them also.
a coke sub and a dr p sub.

Corn syrup Coke tastes better than Coke with sugar. I don't drink Dr. Ass so I wouldn't know about that.

Sadly corn syrup is here to stay.
The novelty drinks will be around to reminisce but the business has moved forward and without changes in raw materials/movement costs you will not see much more than this.
