You guys are acting like our soldiers are robots. Almost every person in this thread wanted to send soldiers to Afghanistan. Almost everyone in this thread is kind of over it and doesn't want soldiers in Afghanistan because they no longer care about killing them. Only the soldiers you sent there still have to kill them and have been killing them as you've grown bored of the process through countless episodes of survivor, and football seasons.

So how should those soldiers feel about killing the people that you originally wanted them to kill but now are too bored to worry about? Should they kill them but realize it's unjust? It's necessary to kill some people. but not these people. Yet we sent them over there to do it and ordered them to do it. now you can't even face a very minor distasteful reality resulting form your stupidity.

Wrong! We sent them there to topple the taliban and primarily to bring bin laden to justice.

They toppled the taliban quite quickly and recently supposedly killed bin laden.

We also expected them to create goodwill with the afghani people by giving women more rights and increasing the general socio economic status of the people ;we poured hundreds of billions of dollars, driopped pallets of cash and supplies).

We didnt send them there to kill kill and kill.

We screwed up though and have made things worse and increased islamic acts of violenc.

The arab spring too is an islamic rise where secular leaders are being toppled.

So none of this is stuff we wanted.

Did we send them there? Have you demanded that they come back? Did you demand that they only kill a few hundred people then come home? I'm not sure you understand what happens when you invade another country, but it usually involves killing a lot of them.

If you give an order to one hundred people and you know that every hundred people that do that thing two of them will be destroyed psychologically do you then look down your nose at the two for being weak? What was the cause of their disorder?
