What do you do when you get home from work?
|
typically I:
Get home from work and depending on the day, play basketball in an old guy league or Run 3-4 miles or have a rest day
Have a light dinner of some kind
Read / watch tv / play computer games
Call my girlfriend and talk
Go to bed

BS with the family and eat dinner, then it is either gaming or more family fun.

What is your night routine with your dogs and cats? Just curious. I think I ignore Audrey on weeknights

Dunno about him, but my dog gets structured play/learning time after the walk.
Cats demand an hour or six of playing fetch every night. They might get 30 minutes..

What do you do when you get home from work?

The big hounds are let out of their crates and into the backyard. The little hounds are coaxed outside next. They all spend a good 15 minutes running around like nutballs working off the excess excitement. They are let in and chase the cat.
Dinner is prepared for them and then distributed in the same pattern. The cat is fed while the dogs are eating.
After dinner, Greenies are distributed for their evening chew. After greenies, they are let outside again to romp while Mommy and I get our Pj's on and settle in for the night.
They all come in, we bribe the puppy with a bone and the rest of the dogs go to sleep.
Prince (my cat) will crawl into my lap to thank me for dinner.
Rinse, repeat.
Pretty sure that's more detail then you wanted, but it's my nights most nights.

We spoil them rotten. Sea is in the other room singing the carpenters to them and feeding them treats atm.

We tend to spoil our dog too, she even has an automatic doggy door in the wall, there is a sensor on her collar and when she gets close the door opens.

eat dinner and then TV/Read/study until i feel sleepy
