What do you do when you get home from work?

Me since I get up SO EARLY I go and do all the things necessary for the next day and then I relax. I also put google reminders every morning so I dont forget a few things I need to do.

Oh I also have a beer or a glass of wine and then eat and watch the evening news. Its sad but after work many times I'm too tired to play video games. Just love Skyrim!

I don't work. I sleep odd hours. I do whatever I feel like whenever I'm awake, which is usually read a book for a couple of hours, cook some food, talk to a couple of friends, look at the innterweb.
Going over to a friends house for the night this evening. She works 3rd shift and I'm gonna be babysitting which is pretty damn scary to even think about. That's unusual however, most of the time I just stay up all night reading a book.

What do you do when you get home from work?

I get up at noonish, get ready and head into work. 2-10 and then I hit the gym on my way home. Get in by 1, pop on the xbox and tv. Try to watch a documentary or have an audiobook on in the background if I play.
If I smoke I usually play the game or just watch the show. Around 2 or 3 I make food if I haven't eaten already and then I finish up the rest of the night in bed. Usually asleep by 5 or 6. I'm trying to mix in writing or being productive on my novel a little bit, and I berate myself when I don't, but being on your feet 10 hours and then hitting the gym takes a lot of motivation out of you. Trying to balance not making excuses with not getting down on myself.

I admire you are writing a novel. Writing is one of the things I want to do but when I get home I just veg out

Change shoes - 2 mile walk (with wife and dog)
Check my Civ4 Pitboss games, take turns if needed.
Start a .torrent of a TV show from the night before. Pause as needed as we make dinner, finish watching while eating. Typically only watch one 44min show a night.
Vacuum floors (dog hair everywhere, every day) while she does dishes.
Shower
Game/surf for a couple hours. Maybe watch a movie w/wife.
Bed at 10. Once wife is asleep, usually read till midnight.
Alarm goes off at 6:47am to go jogging w/dog again.
