And a huge portion of the government is Executive Branch stuff. Congress funds it, but he controls it. So he could just fire everyone in those departments and return the money unspent.

See, I could imagine this happening, and then imagine congress immediately impeaching Paul, because the last thing congress wants is to be gelded by the president. There are simply too many lobbyist dollars behind too many congressmen to let the president actually have the reins. This makes me wonder what, if any role the population has in the impeachment process as opposed to congress?

Libertarianism is a "wonderful dream"....if you are a prosperous, white, christian, guy.
It's always attractive to endorse ideas that would result in your own advantage and fuck everyone who wasn't smart enough to be born a middle class white man who attends church. Been there, done that. Of course, I went to a school that had "gasp" black professors.....so I probably didn't learn much except how to milk the system for food stamps....according to idiots that are stupid enough to vote for any republican.
