Did you read the part where i said "unless it is harming your property" ?
Property includes cattle.
Read before you throw out insults.

Wonder how many more he needs to kill to turn in his quest. And I wonder if it had any rare loot on it.
Joking aside, wow that thing is big. I wonder if animals are pretty much going to be at the sizes they're at now, since anything that gets big via natural selection is no doubt going to end up being a hunter, or more likely, poacher's prize catch.
For instance, elephants in Africa are starting to grow smaller and smaller tusks because the ones that have big ones get shot and killed, while the poachers there leave the ones with smaller tusks alone (for the most part), which allow them to survive and pass on their genes. If this keeps up, in a few hundred years (or even decades if it goes that bad), there probably won't be anymore elephants around with large tusks anymore.
Same thing with fish. Fishermen like to catch big fish, and throw the little ones back (I know, most do it for sport and usually release it back, but just a generalization here), which means the bigger ones will be harder to find as time goes on since the little ones are the only ones around to reproduce.
I think wolves and other predators are necessary because otherwise their prey could potentially grow unchecked, which could lead to a lot of other problems, such as overpopulation and a lack of enough food, which would cause more problems for them in the long run. And just having open season on them every few years to cull the population probably wouldn't work since hunters would probably leave smaller game alone that the wolves also hunt.
That said, yes, if the wolves are threatening livestock, then yes, chase them off or kill them if they're too aggressive towards humans/livestock. But hopefully no one's killing them for the lulz and pictures.
