I dont care if they are islamic fascists. I do care if they attack and provoke the US. Their form of government shouldnt matter at all. Let them choose. If they mess with the US only then should they be dealt with.
Its not the US's job to determine acceptable goverments of other countries. Its not the US's job to meddle in afairs it really doesnt understand. Even after fifty years of the Cold War the US is very naive about how the world works. The brits are much wiser after three hundred or so years of colonial empire

I think even Eodell is going to have a hard time charcterizing our post 9/11 involvement in Afghanistan as overthrowing a secular tyrant to put religious fundamentalists into power. |

According to paulg and other right wingers, the Arab Spring and the move to democracy is all due to Bush. Has that changed? Or, is all the good stuff due to Bush and the bad stuff due to Obama?

The Arab Spring is a great even if it results in governments we dont like. I do believe its due to Bush and the new government in Iraq. People can see first hand what something different is like
