In this way, Gingrich is really smart. The guy is trying to win the GOP nomination. To do that he needs to drive the far right to the polls to vote for him. This will help win a few votes and cost him nothing.

What does any of that have to do with the fact that the US doesn't have an official language?
If you want to live in a country that has English as it's official language, move to Singapore for eff sakes.

If you think about it Democrats being against people learning English makes sense. Not learning English will make their life hard with fewer choices. It also makes a better chance of being ignorance. In other words a Democrat voting block.
