Gold has a trade value that has outlasted EVERY fiat currency in existence.
How long has gold been used for debts? Since it was discovered.
How about (pick ANY current fiat currency)

Weren't rocks the weapon of choice from the Aliens in Starship Troopers?
Pretty sure they were.
I would like to point out that Reese and I already covered this topic last week and none of you idiots paid any attention there either.
This is just another corroborative story along those lines.
You could have also looked up the Iranian Oil Bourse and seen what other methods Iran has to get around any sanctions put against it.
Hard work though for this lot.
