Depends on why you're meeting him.
I've met a couple people just because I was in the right place at the right time.
Frankly... not that memorable. Of course I've met a lot of celebs over the years and I'm not someone who idolizes them or goes in for the worship, so maybe that's it.

Pretty simple.
My great-grandmother was invited to meet Roosevelt during WWII with some other Mothers of the Year at the time. I read her diary about it, all of the ladies that went down were more interested in seeing the White House kitchens than the President!
I'd probably do something like that. Take the free trip to Washington, then just go site seeing.
From what she wrote it was pretty much, "  ou're the President? Nice. Where's the kitchen? Do you have the new XYZ ovens here??"
