Are you kidding?

I save major money and time. Repairs, insurance, gas. The program allows for your own car but if you run the numbers you'd be a fool to do that. Basically they pay you for mileage. With the fleet car option you're way way way ahead of the game.

I haven't paid for my own gas for over 10 years! They just started making us pay for personal use which in my case is almost nil anyway but I have seen that it's costing me $50-$100/month out of pocket. A Hybrid should fix that.

A free fool. Not beholden to the shifting sands of Corporate America for basic transportation.

I simply don't like the idea of losing 'everything' when I inevitably have to find a new job.

allthe money you didn't spend on car payments and insurance adds up.. if he does lose his job, that's a lot of money left over you can use to buy a car when you actually have to.

buying thing you don't need is pretty useless. Unless cars are a hobby or you "need" to have that certain car, then, it'd be a waste to buy a car you know you won't use.

Yes. My free car is but a shackle. The man is keeping me down! What a fool I have been! I'll go out and get a car payment Toot Sweet! Insurance, maintenance and gas...it'll be just grand. I'll show those tyrants they don't own me!

I can always go out and get a car if I need one. Why spend money you don't have to?

I saw a chevy truck the other day which I thought looked good.

A vintage feel.

I like the freedom that comes from driving my own car. No one but me can determine how it's used or when I have to give it up.

Did Nnanji just say "Toot Sweet?"

I've been shocked by some of the companies abandoning their fleet vehicles. Big time companies dropping the car perk all the way up to the executive level. Anyone who can still get it is very lucky to have it.

The epitome of GM's failure and eventual bankruptcy. A $42,000 convertible pick-up truck, that doesn't have any of the functionality of a pick-up, or the look and feel of a convertible.

Too expensive for the target market, but probably fun to tool around in.
