nope nope, no specific case or sub issue in mind, just our overall theme nationwide for judicial enforcement.
To some people blind justice means equal enforcement of the law, and to others it means let them hang even if they have no idea what the law is.
Wanted to gauge where we at the Outpost stand on this.

No I don't believe that to be true. On a case by case basis there would be a long list of laws that I would say that should be true for, such as murder or theft and such. Common sense stuff. But there is a reason you NEED a lawyer now days in order to navigate the law, it's been confused and removed from public understanding.

When the law is moral.
Law against speeding? Immoral and invalid law since there is no victim
There is a victim when they crash and kill someone from careless driving.
there is no guarantee that if you speed you will crash, just ad if you are going slow, you will not crash
Crashes come from inattentiveness and misjudgment, not from speed
accidents create victims, ergo there should be a penalty. Speeding or going some do not create victims, therefore there should be no penalty

immoral and invalid laws do not but because they are immoral and invalid eventually they are abolished, overturned, or ignored
you forgot the the 9th and 14th Amendments which limit the powers granted in the 10th Amendment .... FYI

When I was 18 I got caught in a tiny park that is attached to my subdivision with a girl.
The officer gave me a ticket for being in the park after hours.
I went to court and asked if I could plead ignorance. (Ah the irony of that question now that I look back)
The judge laughed at me and said, Sorry son. The law doesn't care if we are stupid or not.
I spent 3 hours of community service shoveling horse sh*t.
And I didn't get any that night.

Ignorance is no excuse. This can be harsh and should be offset in part by the discretion of professionals involved in the process. You might be amazed at how often violations are dismissed or reduced by individuals within the system based on the circumstances.
