IMO boobs shouldn't have to be covered up in the first place. Ridiculous double-standard that evolved over the centuries. So, obviously using them for what they're designed to do anytime anywhere isn't even objectionable, and in fact, should be a protected right.

I don't mind public breastfeeding but I do mind when it's done right within my field of view. Some effort should be taken by women to not invite an audience because you feel uncomfortable when your eyes pass by it.

I didn't catch the whole story..but from what i understand, a lady got fired from her job for pumping milk (in the ladies bathroom) ..and now the lawsuit is on.
What is absurd is that there wasn't any other place she could go to pump. Would you really want to prepare food in the room designated for taking dumps?
Breastfeeding in public is fine. I did it with all my kids. But I also didn't just let the girls hang out for the world to oggle, I always covered up.

This is one of those where the true extent of my 'truly classic liberal and civil libertarian' streak shows... where I hold true to my promise that I am truly about as far 'left' on some issues as you can get without getting a divide-by-zero error.
I honestly believe it is unlawful, unconscionable oppression to pass laws that stop one from using one's body from doing what it is DESIGNED to do. Womens' breasts are DESIGNED to healthily feed our young. Anti-breastfeeding and public nudity laws involving breasts are among the most clearly oppressive, clearly wrong laws we have on the books. They're a pinnacle of a double standard, and a crystal clear case of misogyny.

Case in point. Making more regulations to counter bad laws. Just more stupidity and overtaking of the plumbing to 'circumvent' restrictions which shouldn't exist in the first place.
