supposedly her lip is pretty screwed up, and shes gonna have some surgery.
She was dumb though. the dog was giving warning signs. It's not totally her fault for not seeing them, it is her fault for sticking her face at a strange dog.

I don't know, it seems like she was wrongly assured that the dog was perfectly harmless or something. By the idiots who did background for the segment and the handlers. I feel bad for her.

Even a dog that is "perfectly harmless" doesn't want a stranger doing that. It was a defensive action from an animal that was threatened.

If you're a handler and trainer at a rescue, the burden of expertise is on you. Not some anchor chick who may or may not know any better. Particularly with a recently rescued pet (saved from drowning the day before).
