I don't deny some will vote for Obama for ASSUMING he is mythically better for the middle class than his mythical opponents. (When in reality, both parties are out to f*ck us, just at the behest of different special interests).

Sorry to break this news, but... to do anything to the exclusion of the alternative, solely because the skin staring back at you is the color you like, is racist.
Perhaps it was not the color of the skin that they liked.
Perhaps it had nothing to do with a color of skin but rather the idea of how far they had come. They were voting for an ideal.
That seems just as plausible to me and not racist.
I can see it from your angle as well and I have no doubt that there were people that voted for McCain and Obama because of their color.

To be fair he is just being honest and i respect him for that. Many voters vote for similar reasons but the dont tell anyone the real reason.
