Obviously 90% or more of the black votes for Obama were based simply on race.

Of course that doesn't say much, probably a solid half of McCain voters voted for him simply because he wasn't black.
After all the Nobel committee gave Obama the Peace Prize simply for not being Bush.
The Howard Stern bit with Sal in Harlem(NSFW - language) was pretty hilarious but you could probably have the same results if you went to like Kentucky or something and spoke to white voters about their votes while reversing the issues too.

Being that he was the first black person to run for president, I expect people to be excited about it.
