Why aren't they hiring?

Why would giving them tax breaks create more jobs?

They're hiring. They're just not hiring HERE. Because we subsidize the crap out of them to earn profits overseas, and hire overseas, while enjoying our protections, markets and infrastructure.
And also because we disincent even the 'patriotic' ones from doing so, by making the cost of labor and of doing business via multitudinous regulations so high it just isn't worth the trade-off when they can... (see above).

^^^ that part is true... when conservatives talk more about letting businesses hire Americans and less about reducing the taxes on the idle rich, it starts to make sense.
Too bad the whole point of the Republican Party is to reduce the taxes on the idle rich while raising taxes on the working class, er excuse me, "broadening the base"...
