Adelson is the primary funder of Gingrich's campaign. Not sure how much political involvement he has outside of the Gingrich connection.

i googled him and apparently he was a big donor to Dubya and started some kind of right-wing version of moveon.org which failed. I still have no idea who he is other than that.

I have no criminal/police record and a law-abiding and legal gun owner.
They don't let criminals legally own guns.

Yeah I saw where he owns a bunch of casinos or something. But that doesn't automatically give him name recognition. I shop at Home Depot regularly and love the store but I couldn't tell you off the top of my head who their CEO is.
