If this was an accidental shooting the issue is nothing to do with schools. The issue is how the loaded gun got into the hands of the boy. Most likely the parents just left it lying around in an easy to access location without a gun lock and not putting it into a gun safe.
If anyone should be sued its the parents of the kid with the gun
