Any idea how many devastating knifings, clubbings and curb stompings take place on school grounds?

Its happening right now. She was just taken away in the ambulance and the kid who shot her is in custody. The police havent said if the shooting was an accident or intential.
Its disturbing. Something is wrong with American society

Again... why does a non-serial shooting at a school inspire this, instead of the dozens of incidents daily of knifings, maimings and other terrors visited on children at our schools?
Oh, that's right. They don't get headlines because the tool used is less stigmatized.

Its because kids are so young and supposedly innocent. I remember fights as a kid and kids smoking and doing drugs but not this. This is a new generation
Kids are annoying but I remember what it was like to be a kid.

You just remember growing up in a less crappy neighborhood, with slightly less crappy public schools.
I moved all around the country and went to 8 different public schools. Half of them were REALLLLLY crappy and dangerous.
Trust me. Even in the ones that were middle of the road, this was going on 25 years ago with guns, knives, etc. In a lot of places.

Well I lived a LOWER middle class life in an ok neighborhood. My schools were pretty nice. I was lucky and I was able to walk to school to all my schools from the elemetary to High School

Same reason you only see articles about dog bits when they involve Pit Bulls, but when a Pomeranian rips apart an infant it isn't even mentioned in the news.
