Was it too hard to use your purge at the right time, scrubs? Or maybe even IP if they were lucky enough to pull a second 5 sec stun

I played a slash infil and 90% of my duels vs piece infils I owned them. Which leads me to believe that the cry babies in both mid and hib were just bad players.

My slash infil at rr5/6 was taking down rr8/9 sb/ns. It's called knowing how to use your skills and when to pop your RA's.

The best was when tanks and hybrids cried over dying to infils. Pierce infils were shit. Slash infils> all.

Actually, the best was the cry baby shadowblades who used to have massive meltdowns over a stun, but had LA and buffs and pretty much could 3 shot everything if they didn't blow hard ( which most of them did)

Wasn't pierce meant to be a counter to the tank armors while slash was good against the stealth classes?

Alb slash was good against hib scale, but bad against mid chain.

Can't remember but wasn't leather armor vulnerable to slash? I had a RR6 SB and it wasn't fun going against slash infiltrators with extra relics. And purge wasn't always up

Alb slash could have had a bonus vs mid leather, but I don't think it has an effect on hib leather...

A lot of bad players used Dragonfang, Slam and Left Axe to hide their lack of skills.

I rolled a slash inf specifically to target the SBs on our server and I completely destroyed the majority of them. Going up against Hib archers sucked, though, due to the penalty against studded.

Weapon and armor penalties and bonuses were one of the stupidest things about daoc. Let's make you hit for 85-115% of normal amounts based on who you're fighting! That will be fun and balanced!

It was one of those things that didn't matter for the core RvR but made DAOC one of the worst 1v1 games ever.

Oddly, if we speak only about melee classes, I find
DAOC best 1vs1 MMO I played
