In addition to tax changes Reagan also increased spending while paying for that spending with government debt.

that was way way way before anyone cared about deficits!

Lets keep doing what we've been doing! It's obviously working so well.

Bush was a Keynesian and got predictable Keynesian results.

Libtards blame him even now for our down economy but believe that more Keynes is what we need to fix things.

Can you please point out/link to where Keynes advocated lowering taxes and keeping them low while increasing spending during economic boom periods?

I'll hang up and listen.

Reagan massively grew the size of government and his funding evil people in South America was horrible

Keynesians believe in spending more during recessions and saving during booms.

Reagan was a politician, not a keynesian.

Politicians are characterized by a belief in spending more during a recession and spending more during a boom, too.

Politician: The economy is doing great! SPEND MORE MONEY
Politician: The economy sucks! SPEND MORE MONEY

Not sure what to call this, but it doesn't resemble any sort of rational economic policy.

Actually Reagan did make some effort in later years to reduce the defecit. Bush Sr tried cuts too but that actually helped fuel defecits.

It is not politically popular to start recessions.

There is little doubt that Reagan pushed debt spending as a response to the recession though. It is strange to see Republicans today treat such ideas as examples of socialism.

That's America's economic policy since I've been alive, but it certainly isn't Keynesianism.

Probably not, but it seems to get people elected a lot down there...
