Its been years since I've gone camping but the crisp air and the sunrise in the morning camping is pretty great as is looking at the stars and sitting around the campfire at night. Magical

Camping in non-fly season is great here in middle Ontario.
That's about 3 days in early October, but it is GREAT!

I camp quite often at rocket launches, of course my trailer has a generator, shower, heater and Direct TV.

If you camp at high enough altitude then you wont run into many flies/bugs and the few you do run into are really slow moving and not much of an issue.
