How about we stop picking candidates for "being Presidential" and pick them for their policies.
America will consistently pick a guy who rates 2/10 for his policies and 8/10 for his "being Presidential". I kinda think we'd be better off with a guy who was 2/10 for "being Presidential" and 8/10 on his policies.

I think RP is batshit crazy but he makes a great point.
A fatty costs everyone money because
1) using up more resources
2) overburdening the hospitals
What does a person smoking weed do? Harms no one.
Let's start up a "War on Fatties"

Nice! Let us replace the war on drugs with a "WAR ON FAT!" and then let us use government force to put all fat people in jail! Of course we will need to start this war in the inner cities on blacks and mexicans so that it is more palpable.

African Americans and Latinos tend to be fatter so that actually works out pretty well Des.
Except that the war on drugs only requires us to jail a 1% or 2 or our population. A war on fat people would mean imprisoning at least 1/3 the population of the united states. I don't think we can afford that.

only 1% of the US population use drugs? That is news to me. Blacks make up 13% of those who use drugs yet make up 39% of those arrested for drugs and over 60% of those imprisoned for drug use then I think we can extend this new fat war wit support for people like you. It isn't like we have more prisoners than China in this land of the free.

**Before anyone nitpicks my numbers, please note the ultra-careful use of the term 'correctional control' as opposed to prison**
We have approximately 2 million prisoners.
By contrast, China (CHINA!) only has 1.6 million.
We are 5% of the world population, but account for 25% of the world prison population.
