Sweet, another full month where we can victimize and alienate ourselves from everyone else. 
How about celebrating what everyone achieved no matter what their race is, all year round?
So many people on my list are like WARBARGL WE NEED THIS MONTH, THEY TOOK EVERYTHING ELSE FROM US.
And im like.. wtf do you mean? what did they take from us? Have you looked at native americans recently? THEY got everything taken from them and even THEY don't get a full month dedicated to them. Get over it, everyone got mod on at one point in time in history.

The whole point of black history month is that every other month doesn't cover the history of everybody equally and ignores historical contributions of African-Americans.
It sounds like people you know don't understand why it exists, but i'm not interested in pandering to that particular ignorance.
