according to one version of the story, L. Ron, Robert Heinlein, Issac Asimov, and a few other big name sci-fi writers were getting drunk at a hotel bar during a sci-fi convention. they started talking about politics, religion, and how stupid people are. L. Ron ended up making a bet that he could create a bogus religion and actually get people to fall for it. he won the bet.

How does it differ from Christianity or any other religion? It does not they are all built upon superstitious nonsense, fiction and magic.

Only reason why idiots like you don't accept it as a religion is because it's not hundreds of years old.

Scientology is absolutely a religion in every way shape and form. It is a kooky, loony religion, but a religion all the same.
