I don't think Roosevelt or Churchill was very fond of Stalin, but they worked together because Hitler was the common threat, and a much more serious one, seeing as how the German Army pretty much curbstomped any country they went up against, including relative powerhouse (at the time) France. And the British just barely managed to stay afloat to weather the Battle of Britain.
I wonder what would've happened had Germany not of been at war with Russia when the D-Day landings took place, or worse yet, won in the Eastern Front. Eisenhower's infamous "failed to secure beachhead" letter probably would've been published, and we'd probably have a Cold War with Nazi Germany instead of the Soviet Union (and Hitler made it pretty clear anyone not of the "superior" race would've been at best, enslaved, or just be killed off). What a vastly different world that would've been...
