I don't need to PM you. I'll keep in public.
I guess I hesitate because I have been an agnostic for so long I know what rebuttals you'll give to my answers.
I will give you something to chew on, either everything is a coincidence or nothing is.
If everything is a coincidence then nothing matters and everything is free to be what it will.
If nothing is a coincidence then everything is what it was meant to be.
In either scenario you are exactly what you should be.

In response to the OP, just a belief in God is not going to bless me.
Even Satan believes in God, he chooses not to worship.
I think the wine was fermented that Jesus drank, but I don't care one way or the other.
I think a drink of wine or whatever is good. Just don't be a drunkard.
I like the idea of using all the plants, etc..I think it means just that.

Jesus was the devil in the desert.
He had to decide if he would use his ability to influence others to enrich himself at their expense, or enrich them at his expense.

Everything is a coincidence. The human mind just loves pattern matching though so it draws connections out of things that aren't related.
A lot of what religious people say can't be coincidences requires God overriding the free will of someone else which is supposed to be a no-no.

I mention God and everybody starts bringing up Jesus, What's up with that?
You guys can't differentiate between God and religion?

There is no handicap - god has not come down or done anything verifiable. If believing in god got you to think right then good for you, but i hte to brek it to you - most of us are not broken. Mst of us dont drink to excess, we are not broken like you were.
If you had proof god existed then youd get an audience immediately with the entire world.
Same goes for if you had proof of ghosts or angels and demons or the devil or anything.
No proof has been brought forth by anyone yet in recorded history.
