I haven't played it (and neither have you) but everything they are talking about suggests the combat system is pretty much the opposite of that. They have manual dodging, intricate cross-class comboing, and only 10 usable skills at a time. What they are going for is basically the opposite of the "mash lots of abilities" school of MMO design rift had.

It will be fun..BUT, I do not like the idea that 1 pimp player can defend a keep against many. I do like seige, but I don't like a seige golem that can play at close range for the rich. I just want full on combat..no gimmicks.
