What a bunch of heartless bastards! 
I don't abuse my wife, Bonks. I think that you consider just about anything abuse. You have a checkered past, so your skewed sense of abuse is understandable imo.
I'm not sure how the financial situation will play out. I could go to court and take half of everything but that's just not me. I won't ask for so much as a single thing other than my truck.

She has a friend that dated black guys when she was younger and all but one of them beat the living hell out of her on the reg.

You abused and mistreated her for years Huges and all that time she had all the power. Now she is flexing it and I think that you should try to get what you can from the divorce because if you walk away with nothing you are screwed.
Its not too late to try to reconcile with her if you really love her. If you dont love her get a divorce but be sure to get something from it so you arent totally screwed.
