Contraceptives are used to prevent pregnancy which is a result of sex. How does sex not factor in? fwiw, they should just spay and nueter the people who want this so that my insurance isn't driven up by another unfunded govt mandate.

I'm fine. Had this out in person with a "good christian" idiot last night at a party I threw.
Don't know how he got invited, friend of mine (who was invited and should have known better) brought him as her date, and he proceeded to talk about the "sluts" and the "niggers" and the "faggots" at dinner. Tried to be nice in throwing him out, but he got offended that I dare stand up for "deviants" and started screaming about his "constitutional rights".....
Some of the 8 or so guys who threw him to the curb (literally) were "deviants" by his description which made my laugh. He called the cops and was threatening to sue me and wanted everyone arrested for assault. I explained that I had asked his stupid ass to leave but he refused and was threatening other guests so he was "escorted" to the curb. Cops took him home, the woman who brought him was shunned and left, party was epic after that 
i'm shocked grymm got a date in the first place.

I was going to answer your question, then I saw that you answered it in your own special way and realized my answered wouldn't make any sense to you.
Would the spay and neuter be covered under their insurance?

Requiring private health insurance to provide contraception at no co-pay cost does not take a dime - not one dime - out of your pocket.
Furthermore - private health insurance is compensation and therefore is earned, not given.
Some of you need to stop living in the bubble and pay attention to wtf is actually going on.

On average, it costs something like 16% more to get health insurance that doesn't include contraceptive coverage. Requiring that it be covered saves money.
People should be mad that their employers force them to pay more for health insurance because they don't believe in something.

I agree with Corky, We should stop picking-up the tab for smokers too. And while were at it fat people, anorexics, People that drive cars or fly airplanes, people that live in tornado alley. If you think about it if they took all these people off the insurance dole I bet we could really cut costs.
