The thing that gets me the most is the Russians. Five out of six Dota 2 server groups are closer to Russia than US East and yet I constantly get Russians in my games.
Are these people really that illiterate?

I never understood this...
If they are so awesome - why they gotta pick our servers to play on? Does live suck there so bad that it makes them feel that much better just being virtually close to our awesomeness?

Its actually exactly opposite, at least it was like that in Warhammer Online...whoever could not cut it
on EU servers went to USA

I play on some Russian servers in TF2.
Aside from the horrible excuse they use for letters in their writing, and the fact that their English sucks, they are pretty fun to play with. Always interesting that I get a sub-100 ping to a server located in Siberia, and pull 300+ to one located in Arkansas.
I do get tired of them asking me what state I live in and not understanding when I tell them "constant confusion".
