pirates of silicon valley is a cool movie.
i have nothing against apple( im typing this on an iphone). its just the cult of personality and apple fanatics that makes me roll my eyes.
bill gates is worth 60bln... jobs was only worth 6bln. there are a lot of special people.
and phili farnsworth, the inventor of radar, tv, electron microscope - big things we all depend on for so much is pretty much unknown.
cult of personality just gets on my nerves... people are sheep.

These comments demonstrate that you don't really get it which is why you should read the book IMO.

That would depend on how interesting their life was. Someone can have a very boring life and then do something great. That doesn't mean their biography is a good read.
Also the claim that he didn't contribute something worthwhile is a major thing that makes the book interesting.
He is also psychotic and is one of those people that was kind of a mad genius.
