NDgT is great! Scientists who are great communicators are just as valuable as great researchers and great theorists.
My all time favorite is Carl Sagan, but NDgT isn't far behind. They are cut out of the same cloth.

They really are, they make astro physics fun and appealing. Tyson has pretty much taken up the mantle from Sagan.
He just needs to come up with his own signature statement like Sagan's "BilllllllYons and BillllllYons"

Nitpick: Sagan never said that.  Much like Palin's "I can see Russia from my house" the phrase actually came from a comedian parodying Sagan.
