Tried my new L´occitane shaving oil today. |
Tried it for the first time today, I bought it online and did not see that it's only 1 fluid ounce for about 30 dollars which is just like taking a vad of cash and throwing it in the lake, ah well It'll last a month or two.
It was however really good, shaving oil is perfect if you have a stash and a beard like me and don't want to nick it with your razor and f'k up straight lines etc, it's also better for the skin since it makes the razor slide over the skin and not bite into it moreso then any shaving cream out there.. It also moisturizes your skin too.
I still recommend L ´occitane's after shave balm, I always get red and irritated patches of skin no matter what I do and their after shave balm calms the skin down.
This one is what I'll try next time around, a bit more for my buck and this company specializes in shaving paraphernalia.

Get one of those fogless shower mirrors and shave in the shower. No need for shaving oils or after shave; the steam from the shower take care of both.

I tried that too, I shave directly after I shower while the skin is still warm and the hairs are plyable. Does not work for me.
