Haha, Reese is raging! Slavery has always existed, Christianity led humanity to ending it! Womens rights, it was Paul the the apostle who first said the unthinkable... men and women are equal in God's eyes! Science... the fathers of most every scientific field was a Christian, etc etc!
As for Mammogram, evidence is the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid. Everythign I described is a body of information that can lead a person to decide one way or another. There are a myriad of topics that cannot be PROVEN yet we still accept as reasonable or true. Logic is evidence, inductive logic is evidence, design is evidence, thought experiments are evidence, and personal testimonyis evidence (albiet not always strong) my uneducated friend. Show me some philosophers (psst I am not talking about old guys in robes, every awesome university has a philosophy department) that advocate for the existence of santa clause. Show me the testimony of any adult with a GAF score of 90 or higher that believes in santa or unicorns.... You are blind, it is sad.
