Origin of the Oceans

Religion was such a deterent to a modern state, the people who put the US together specifically exiled religion from state decisions. America isn't great because it allows relgion, it's great because it protects the state and the people from religion.
The US became a world power by embracing science, end of story.

It's more like this:
Religious person: I want to believe crazy stories!!
