According to the law his mother did not reside in the US for a long enough period of time to qualify for what you're referencing. You can't go to France for 5 years and shoot back to the states so your that half french bastard can be born American.

Seems the above statement about the OP's article needing fact-checking was accurate. The above BC has been vetted by multiple sources. It's not the short-form released back in '08, but the long-form version released last year.

I mean, seriously...do you REALLY think he would have made it through the Senate and election without this somehow being found out? It's not rocket science. People with access to this information can easily find it out for themselves. If he really weren't eligible for citizenship, he wouldn't have made it through the '08 election without being called out on it.

Yes I believe that he made it through a corrupt and broken system with little effort actually. That you put such unassailable faith in these things in the face of even modest scrutiny speaks more to your flaws than mine.

I think Obama was born in Kenya and his Grandparents filed naturalization papers for the mother. I also think the Mother worked for the CIA as sort of a call girl who's job it was to both spy on and seduce selected individuals that our government had an interest in. I think Obama worked for the CIA throughout college and has never stopped. So do I think someone with the CIA behind them can get elected even if they don't qualify? Yup.

Actually no. By today's standards yes, but not the year Obama was born and it's not retroactive. Both parents would have had to have been Americans for him to be an American citizen born abroad. 
Not that any of it matters...
