I remember Cage being pretty lethargic in that movie. The whole thing felt bored with itself.

Watching Cage is like trying to watch a super-stoned Captain Kirk. He ruins everything with his 1/3rd speed speech and lifeless eyes. A speak-n-spell has better delivery.
Some of his movies had decent stories. But he's so bad they aren't watchable anyway.

Leaving Las Vegas was his best work. Raising Arizona is a top 100 of all time as far as I'm concerned.

I liked Con Air.
Every time I think of a movie with nicolas cage in it that was good I realize he wasnt in it. And it was like Cusack or somethign and I just watched it a long time ago.
PS. I also thought Hit Girl was an awesome movie. Kick ass was lame in it.
