Very nice. Not to toot my own horn..but Beeeep..we just did that on St.Paddy's.
Having breakfast out..and i noticed some older woman eating alone..no wedding ring, and she just seemed lonely to me. So we picked up her tab without telling her who it was.
Thought maybe it would pick her day up. We all need that from time to time.

In my opinion it should be illegal for cute little brownies to be allowed to mug you outside of stores, at least I'm not expected to go shopping during cookie season because my wife doesn't trust me.

One time, I was in a hurry and rushing past all the people on the sidewalk. One old guy started whining because apparently I had pushed him to one side inadvertently.
So I went back and kicked his ass.
I paid it forward because I taught him an important lesson about life.

Once the car in front of me paid the toll for me on the bridge; it was nice. I didn't pay it forward but many years later i still remember.
Another time, I went to a waffle house in north carolina - I forgot my money and went there on my friends bicycle. I didnt' realize I had forgotten my wallet until after I ordered a meal and was given a bill... the waitress was kind and she paid it for me. I never went back and paid her though - but her good act has stayed within me so I'm sure it has been paid back to her just by the good vibes i'm giving her right now.
