This thing ( Flying Fox?) for example.
Where ever it is native to, I for one will not be visiting. At least not until I am asked to help move into extinct status or it happens to go extinct without my help....

We use to poison rivers and lakes to get rid of them...now we are trying to save them...nasty blood sucking eels are not needed.

Most bats are rather critical in the annual pollination of many crops. Losing them would be tragic.

Bats are cool in a weird way. They serve a purpose. Pollination, eating tons of bugs and all that.
