Depends on how much in resources and money the governments are willing to shell out to counter the drones ...

The only people who think the drones would need to be countered, or shot down? are those who do not understand how the intert00bs works.

Oddly enough, this includes the Pirate Bay clowns.

BT doesn't seem to know what's going on in anything he links to.

No surprise really.

PirateBay != MegaUpload.

Lol if anything this is a move to avoid Swedish law enforcement. How you dumb retards knee jerk this into a Pirate Bay vs the US military thread I have no idea.

Seems like a bad idea to me. The financial investment of setting it up and keeping the drones up should be fairly pricey. Also, in the drone(s) crashes that would be an expensive hit to the infrastructure.

Having said that, I don't see why people think it would take much effort for copyright interests getting permission from the Swedish government to take the drones out. I imagine there are several different ways to couch the language to avoid any hint of 'war' and given that there are some Pirates Bay folks already serving prison time, it doesn't appear the Swedes are unwilling to deal with internally operating criminals.

The U.S. wouldn't have to lift a finger.

The E.U. would be the ones to take them down, and I have little doubt they would.
