Titan is just a code name for it. While it is possible that it remains the official title, don't be surprised if it changes when they officially announce the game.

Rumors have it being a MMO-FPS, which would be sweet. "Titan" was also a codename for Bungie's vaporware Halo MMO, but it has been confirmed it is not that (even though Bungie is under the Activision flag now)
I hope it will be awesome. MMO-FPS is a tough thing to pull off but I think Blizzard could do it. Planetside 2 is coming out soon also... which would be its competitor long term in that arena
