I dont have one yet. But I'm getting one soon. Probably just use it for youtube/internet(google)/ movie every now and then. I just like it cause its portable and I never did buy a laptop like I wanted. So its between a laptop or ipad. Ive never had an apple device, so this may be my first. I'm more partial to PCs. So the whole apple experience should hopefully be a good one.

Read Books - Mostly Studying
Email
Take Notes - iAnnotate study materials
Calendar
Workout timer - Seconds Pro app is really nice.
RSS Reader, News, Weather
NetDocuments - a cloud service that the firm uses to store documents (pretty much have every document on had anywhere in the world)
Games
TelNet
Alarm Clock
Sketch Book
etc....
Normal users will not need anything more than a tablet in the future.

If my kindle fire counts as a tablet, I watch netflix/Amazon videos, read books, play words with friends, and surf the web (ie. porn).

If I had one I don't think I would ever touch it when inside the house but I would probably use it if I travelling.

reading books
surfing
checking email
playing games
using apps(I have a spreadsheet app, a calendar app[synced with my phone and PC,] fitness app, map app, finance app[portfolio tracking.])
And the thing is that it is GREAT at all of that. Not just good but fantastic. Outside of certain flash sites I don't think I'd rather have a PC for any of that.
it's nto so much a what can I do that I don't have a nice PC for? it's more of a what do I need to sit at a desk and do now that I have this?
I still game on my PC, and surf and stuff when I'm in here, but it is super rare that I have my kindle out and am wishing i was at my PC.
