That's why I don't have a tablet.. Can't imagine what I'd do with it.

That's where I'm at. People seem pretty wild about them but I don't know what it is they're doing with them.

Browisng the web, email, notes/lists etc. All easily and non-obstructive when watching tv or on travel.

On Travel tablets are hands down the best. Battery life they're better than really any laptop you can find unless you shelve out big bucks. Extremely portable. Good games, plays movies very well, good for showing off nude pictures of myself with random people I meet in bus stations/airports/truck stops

I love having a tablet. Now whether or not it is worth getting one tablet versus another is another question. I personally see very little gain in benefit from getting an iPad versus what I have, which is a Touchpad with ICS installed on it

I can also use my tablet as a roku player remote, which is handy to have, I can remote into any of my computers at any time I want also and do dozens of other things. The only thing I need computers for are they are superior to surf the web if I want to dedicate time to do that, gaming, and development

I've been thinking about getting an android tablet for my wife. She would use it for email, websurfing and crappy facebook games like cafe world, but in the little bit of looking I've done I haven't seen she would be able to fire up her time wasters on facebook.

Currently, when I'm, say, reading in bed and something occurs to me, I can fire up the phone and check it out, but, phones are a bit awkward for that. If tablets were a lot cheaper, that's the kind of thing I'd use them for. Can't justify it when they are $400+

I don't really DO anything with it. I just carry it around in public with me everywhree and make sure it's prominently displayed.

read books... web surf.. usually only take it where I think ill be waiting and extended amount of time.
