That's actually wrong. Life expectancies in traditional hunter gatherer societies tend to be quite high if you make it through the first couple years. People who make it to 7 will be unlucky not to make it to 70.

Infant mortality rates were well above 50%.

Average life expectancy of the ancient world (pre-bronze age) was, at best, 40 - and if you made it that long you were basically Super Man.

You are correct! and you can also read since you noticed I said Adults. Which means you do not belong here.

They do not want to face the fact that their Faith is in a line of progression that leads always from the lesser to greater. They project this to mean the future will be better, higher and more complex, and always ascending! So blinded they could never see entropology at work while they foul their nest, body, and mind. The Borg is their future heaven! Darwinism to scientism in the blink of an eye!

Bah!

1. No they arn't. They are high but not 50%.

2. Average life expectancy is a poor measure of adult life expectancy. People living in traditional hutner gather societies who make it to adulthood will live into their 60s on average.

Also, where are you from? I'm pretty sure wherever that place is a pox on humanity.

Someone on the Ywain boards said he was from Singapore.

Maybe not on the planet you came from but here they certainly were.

Up to circa 2000ish BC the infant mortality rate for newborns was over 30% - for just their first year. Over 50% did not survive to age 5... and this was the healthiest of ancient cultures. Everyone else had it worse.

And if we could just keep those religion nuts in check infant mortality would virtually disappear and life expectancy world wide would sky rocket!

Thanks for getting us here. Let us have control now to clean up the mess you guys created and save our species.
