I'm pretty sure they deleted my character.

Where are my characters? I have a level 61 or 63 shaman, i cant find him.

That sucks...they should be there somewhere.

I was surprised my ranger was still there considering the last expansion I played on was Velius.

My MMO career begins with DAoC (after SI release). Sometimes I ask myself if I missed something. I remember when Ultima went--well--Online and how much that idea intrigued me, but I was going to school back then and the costs (telephone fees + online fees and UO subscription) were simply way too much to even thing about that.

I have some good memories from EQ but if I look at it objectively playing that game obsessively was probably the worst decision I've ever made in my life.

My buddy and I moved from playing Icewind Dale on a network to trying this 'new' EQ thing, which iirc was between Kunark and Velious releases. At least, the game we got had Kunark. So EQ was my first real introduction to an mmo. I did try Ultima Online while I was stationed in Germany, but as mentioned above, between the connection and phone costs, it was too pricey to play. Also lag.


I loved me some EQ and have fond memories of it, but I also recall the huge upgrade in graphics games have had since, and I really hated the crap with mobs coming through walls and attacking through floors and stuff.


Somehow I doubt my toons exist there. The gnome mage was pretty awesome teamed with my buddy's iksar necro.

I dont even remember what my account name was. Was fun, but you needed two accounts to play it if you werent grouping and when I played in the morning, it was empty.

At the time it was great but now the bad things really stand out.
