The similarity is both men were walking away. Both men were on the ground yelling for help while getting the shit kicked out of them. Both men feared for their lives so both men took action and shot their attacker. Both men have witnesses stating as much.

Have you read the part where the Sheriffs edited a witnesses sworn testimony? Or seen the witnesses (actual ones that were on TV, not fictional unconfirmed ones from one or two random stories you managed to find) that say Zimmerman was not defending himself?
